Cattle/Cows Wormer Instructions

Cows: Mix 3-4 TBSPs of Verm Oust with feed, grain, pellets and add a little water to bind it together so the cows don’t miss much of it. Adjust for bulls or smaller cows.

You can use Black Strap Molasses if needed but we recommend that this is not overdone. We do not recommend the use of any other form of sugar with Verm Oust as processed sugar is not good for cows and destroys their Calcium.

We believe in the use of whole grains and whole feeds ONLY. Many feeds on the market today given to horses and cows are largely grain-waste and not whole grains, tons of trashy fillers, inorganic minerals and very little if anything natural.

Dosing times: 3-4 TBSPs twice a day for three days straight then dose once a week, in morning and afternoon/evening. We recommend dosing 3-4 days before full moon and continue 3 days after full moon as parasites are likely to be more susceptible at this time.

Verm Oust should not be taken along with or at the same time as medications, drugs or supplements. If your Cows are on medication make sure it will not react to any of the herbs. Can be fed with most other herbs such as red raspberry leaf.

What if they won’t eat it?
You can use a little molasses if necessary but if the cow/s will not eat the mixture then wait a day feed straight grain/feed then the following day mix 1/4 or 1/3 of the dose into their feed and they should eat it no problem. If they eat most of it then just do the same thing the next day and slowly build up. Some horses are really really picky and some just need to adjust to the taste. Once they adjust most animals love the Peppermint and fennel taste. Cows especially seem to take to the fennel taste.

What if my cows have a heavy burden?
Any animal with a heavy worm burden should be carefully monitored and watched. It is completely fine to start with a smaller dose and build up to allow gradual work. You know your animals, watch them and listen to them.
